Dhanraj (Kader Khan) is an amiable man who is hitched to a well off, trivial leaning, and controlling spouse (Shashikala). Dhanraj has two children and a girl. The senior child Ram (Rishi Kapoor) is hitched to Seeta (Jaya Pradha); the more youthful child, Amar (Govinda) is infatuated with Asha (Farha); and the girl Uma (Aruna Irani) is hitched to Lallu Ram (Ashok Saraf). Uma likes to live with her mom rather than her better half's home. Mrs Dhanraj needs Amar to wed an extremely rich young lady with the goal that she can aggregate more abundance through a huge settlement.
